Talk is cheap 2007 (Saturday, January 27), by the BTS Crew, was my first live break dance battle viewing experience. Sam, who is my Aussie friend currently visiting, and I found it way cool. Break dance is awesome, but require a lot of practice and skill. The whole occurence was topped with my brother beatboxing as a "half time show". The selection of pictures do not say it all, but they give an idea about high-level performance. The event took place in Storsalen, which is where I got to church on Sundays. A group of hip hopers are gathering in the same locales, and has developed the most known break dance mileu in Oslo. As referees there were three of the beast breakers in the world, and also the DJs had won some titles.
I recently purchased a Canon 50 mm f 1.4 lens which allowed my to semi-capture the movements. The room was fairly dark though, which provides a tad too much movement.
